Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern access to and use of the Submanager service, available at submanager.org, operated on a personal basis by Tom Simonis.

By creating an account or using the service, you unreservedly accept these ToS. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.

Submanager is a free web application for tracking, managing, and receiving alerts for your personal or family subscriptions. The service includes:

• Managing your subscriptions (adding, editing, cancelling)
• Sending email alerts before renewal dates
• Analysing your spending by category
• Sharing subscriptions within a family group

Access to the service requires creating an account with a valid email address. You are solely responsible for:

• The confidentiality of your credentials
• All actions taken under your account
• The accuracy of the data you enter

Any suspicious use of your account must be reported immediately to support@submanager.org

You agree to use the service lawfully and not to:

• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use the service for commercial purposes without prior agreement
• Submit excessive automated requests that could harm the service
• Circumvent authentication or security mechanisms
• Post content that is unlawful or contrary to public order

The Submanager application, its interface, source code, and visual assets are the exclusive property of their author. Any reproduction, modification, or distribution without express authorisation is prohibited.

Data you enter into the application (subscriptions, categories, amounts) remains your property and can be exported or deleted at any time.

Submanager is provided free of charge, without any service level guarantee (SLA). Maintenance outages, updates, or technical incidents may occur without notice. No compensation may be claimed for unavailability.

Submanager shall not be held liable for:

• Financial losses resulting from a missed subscription renewal
• Service unavailability preventing the receipt of alerts
• Errors in data entered by the user
• Indirect damages arising from use of the service

Submanager's liability is in any event limited to the value of services actually provided, which being free, is nil.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Danger Zone. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of a violation of these ToS, after email notification except in cases of emergency.

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these ToS.

These terms may be modified at any time. Significant changes will be notified by email with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after this period constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These ToS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavour to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
